 Sunday (Feb 15) at Marquês de Sapucaí featured a special moment at Camarote Rio Praia, where singers Arlindinho and Thiago Soares shared the stage, bridging generations of samba during the opening night of Rio’s Special Group parades.

 Arlindinho touched the audience with classic samba anthems, while Thiago Soares brought the energy of modern pagode, uniting different age groups in one joyful celebration of Brazilian rhythm.

 Between parades, Samba dos Guimarães and Confraria Carioca kept the vibe alive with traditional roda de samba sessions. The setting reflected the true Carioca spirit that defines Camarote Rio Praia’s musical identity.

 Among the guests were Carla Marins and her husband Hugo Baltazar, who celebrated the night’s vibrant mix of samba roots and Carnival excitement.
